Three generations of Ibarboure.

Ximie, Aitaxi, the grandparents, the soul of the house, who started it all when they decided to create their hotel within the family house back in 1966.
Martin and Marie Claude have now taken over the hotel and created the new restaurant Briketenia.
David and Camille, the grandchildren.

David met his girlfriend Carole while studying at his hotel management school. They then both decided to travel together and happened to work in prestigious restaurants such as the Martinez, The Oasis owned by Messrs Raimbault and with Pierre Gagnaire both in London and Honk Kong.

Camille, who has a sommelier degree from her hotel management school, will advise you on wine selection and will show you the road of basque vineyards unless she is already away looking for new flavors and good bottles.
